Extension cables and splitters for connecting and extending mini light strings and commercial LED displays. Y-splitters, X-splitters, 7-way spider cords, and coaxial extensions in every length you need.
One outlet powering an entire property. That is the reality on most jobs. Splitters let you branch a single power source into multiple light runs without running back to the outlet for each one. Plan your electrical layout before the install and you will save hours on every job.
Our splitters and extensions work with mini and string lights, icicle lights, and net lights. Coaxial connectors lock together securely for weather-resistant outdoor connections.
For C9 and C7 socket wire connections, use Gilbert plugs and connectors instead.
Count your outlets. Map your runs. Order enough splitters and extension cable to reach every section of the property without overloading circuits. This is how professional installers avoid blown fuses and mid-job rewiring.
Jason Geiman and the ChristmasLightHQ team have field-tested every connector here on real installs.
How many outlets do you typically work with per job?
A Y-splitter takes one input and branches into two outputs. An X-splitter branches into four. Use Y-splitters for simple two-way splits at corners. Use X-splitters or 7-way spider cords when you need to power multiple runs from a single source point.
Measure the distance from your power source to where the light run starts. Add a few extra feet for slack. We stock cables from 6 feet to 50 feet. For longer runs, use bulk zip cord with Gilbert plugs for custom lengths.
Yes, but keep total run length reasonable. Every connection adds a small amount of resistance. For runs over 50 feet, use a single longer cable or bulk wire rather than chaining multiple short cables together.
Our coaxial extensions and splitters work with mini lights, icicle lights, and net lights. For C9 and C7 socket wire, you need Gilbert plugs and connectors. Different connector types. Make sure you order the right ones for your setup.
