C7 LEDs handle the detail work that C9s are too big for. Pathways, door frames, window outlines, railings, and tree wraps. The smaller E12 candelabra base fits tighter spaces while still delivering solid visibility.
Smart installers pair C7s with C9s on the same job. C9s run the roofline. C7s handle everything below it. Pathways from the driveway to the front door. Window outlines that frame the house. Door frames and railings that add depth to the display.
This two-bulb strategy lets you upsell clients and increase your average ticket without adding complexity.
Every C7 we carry is commercial-grade LED rated for 25,000+ hours. Cool to the touch. Energy efficient. No callback risk from burned-out bulbs mid-season.
Bundle everything you need in a C7 Pro Light Kit with bulbs, socket wire, clips, and plugs at contractor pricing. Need clips for every surface type? We stock those too.

How are you using C7s on your installs this season?
Size is the main difference. C7 bulbs measure 0.875 inches in diameter with an E12 candelabra base. C9 bulbs are 1.25 inches with an E17 intermediate base. C7s work for detail areas. C9s dominate rooflines. Most pros use both on the same job.
C7s handle the detail work. Pathways, fences, window outlines, door frames, bushes, and railings. Anywhere the larger C9 would look oversized. Smart installers use C7s below the roofline and C9s above it.
Absolutely. This is the standard approach for professional installs. Run C9s on the main roofline for street-level impact. Use C7s on pathways, window frames, and secondary areas. Different zones, different bulb sizes, one cohesive display.
C7 LEDs run between 0.4W and 0.96W per bulb. You can string hundreds on a single circuit without worrying about overloads. That low draw also means no heat buildup on contact with branches or surfaces.
