What if I don’t have a business license yet?
You need a business license or sole-proprietorship documentation to qualify for wholesale. If you’re brand-new to the trade, check out our Christmas Lights Installation Training first — get your business set up and trained on the craft, then apply for wholesale.
What’s the minimum order?
No minimum order. Wholesale tiers kick in based on annual volume, not per-order quantity.
Do you ship to Canada or internationally?
We ship to US addresses only at this time. Reach out to Jason directly at (855) 619-5483 if you have a specific Canadian situation worth discussing.
What if my volume changes year to year?
Tiers are reviewed annually. If you scale up, your tier upgrades. If you scale down, we’ll adjust at renewal. We won’t downgrade mid-season.
Can I use my wholesale pricing for personal purchases?
Wholesale tiers are for business purchases tied to client install jobs. Personal/home purchases should go through retail. We don’t actively police this but the discount math doesn’t work if it’s mostly personal use.
How does tax-exempt purchasing work?
If you have a reseller / tax-exempt permit, enter the number on the application. Approved tax-exempt accounts purchase without sales tax. We file the resale certificate on our end.
What happens if my application is declined?
If we can’t approve at the wholesale tier, we’ll still give you contractor-friendly retail pricing via Pro Light Kits — those are already discounted ~25-35% off à la carte prices. Or call Jason directly to discuss what’s missing for wholesale qualification.
