How to install the SPT-1 female plug
- Cut the SPT-1 wire flush at the line end. Don't strip the jacket.
- Lay the wire into the plug body. Wire flat into the channel. The plug body sets the polarity to match the supply-end male plug.

No. SPT-1 plugs only fit SPT-1 wire. The contact teeth are sized for SPT-1; using on SPT-2 damages the teeth and gives intermittent connections.
