Facebook ads for Christmas light installers work when you treat them like a system, not a gamble. This is the full replay of the live class I taught on Labor Day night, building a real ad campaign on screen from scratch so you can copy every click. Drop your email up top and the replay unlocks.

This replay was one Monday night. I teach a live class exactly like this every Monday night inside the online training, and the full system sits right behind it.

What's covered

  • 00:18: Facebook Ads Library research. How to study what competitors run before you spend a dollar
  • 00:33: Live ad build. Campaign structure, budget tiers, and the lead form fields that actually convert
  • 01:03: Breaking down a $100K/month competitor's creative and why they keep running the same ad
  • 01:06: Retargeting vs. cold spend, and how much of your revenue should go to ads
  • 01:18: My organic Facebook posting numbers and why daily posting moves the needle
  • 01:44: Wrap-up. Ad timing, tool choice, and copying proven creative the right way

Spend what it takes

One student put $7,000 to $10,000 into Facebook ads and it turned into $200,000 to $250,000 in business. That happens when you fund ads like a real line item, not lunch money. Year one marketing budget should run 10% to 15% of revenue. Skipping paid ads your first year is a mistake.

Ads bring the jobs. The 1,000ft King Pro pack covers your first 5 to 6 homes with bulbs, wire, clips and plugs already matched.

See the 1,000ft pack

Dollar-a-day testing

Do not build one ad and hope. Run 5 to 8 variants at a dollar a day each, let the data pick the winner, then cut the losers and fund what works. Guessing which photo or headline performs best is a losing game. Testing is not.

Real photos beat AI and Santa stock

Photos of you, your crew, and your actual jobs outperform AI-generated people and stock Santa images by a wide margin. It is the thing that separates you from every other ad in the feed that looks the same. Use your own face and your own work.

Your best ad photo is a real roofline you lit with King Pro bulbs. Shoot every install.

Get hyper-local with targeting

Do not target the whole metro. Name the actual subdivision or neighborhood in your ad copy and your targeting. The highest-spending competitors I showed on this call do the same thing city by city instead of running one broad regional ad. Tight targeting outperforms wide targeting every time I have tested it.

Build a lead form that pre-qualifies

I built one live on the call with three budget tiers so leads sort themselves before they ever talk to you. The floor starts at $600. Keep the required fields to name, email, phone, and street address. You do not need city, state, or zip to send a quote, and every extra field costs you leads.

We build lead forms exactly like this live, every Monday night, inside the online training for installers.

Watch the Ads Library for profit signals

An ad that has been running a long time in the Facebook Ads Library is probably making money. A short-lived ad usually got pulled because it was not working. Before you write a single word of ad copy, go look at what your highest-spending competitors keep running and figure out why.

Run the Friday MAA loop

Every Friday, sit down and Measure, Analyze, Act. Pull your ad numbers, cross reference them against your CRM to see which leads actually booked and how much revenue came in, then decide what to scale and what to kill. Cost per click means nothing if the lead never turns into a job.

Restock your timers now. In November, waiting on a box costs you jobs.
