This is the gear working contractors run on real rooflines. C9 and C7 LED bulbs, socket wire, clips, plugs, and complete pro light kits at contractor wholesale pricing. Most orders ship same day if placed before 2 PM ET. Free shipping over $349.
The Minleon V2 C9 is a 0.78-watt LED bulb that fits any E17 (C9) socket on 120V AC line voltage. It’s TRIAC-dimmable, IP65 wet-rated, and carries a 15,000-hour rated lifespan with cETLus certification (Intertek file 5019711). Warm White 3000K is the bestseller — about 70% of Minleon V2 C9 orders ship in 3000K. Most contractors pick it over Tuff C9 when dimmability and the longer rated life justify the higher per-bulb cost; pick Tuff when budget per linear foot matters more than dimming.

Homeowners who want a premium look with dimming via smart-home control. Minleon V2’s TRIAC-dimming circuit pairs with Lutron Caseta and Insteon LED-rated dimmer modules — set roofline at 60% glow for soft ambient, 100% for the holiday party.
The 15,000-hour rated life runs 2–3 seasons longer than commodity LED. If your labor cost to swap a single bulb exceeds the bulb’s purchase price, Minleon’s cost-per-season math wins. Property managers running 200+ buildings choose Minleon for the re-bulb cycle reduction alone.
Run Minleon V2 on the high-visibility front-of-house line (street-facing eaves, primary roof edge). Run Tuff C9 on the side, back, and valley runs where the bulb count is high and visibility is lower. Customers get curb-side dimming + long-life on the showcase line; you stay on budget on the back runs.

5-year limited warranty on Minleon V2 C9 bulbs from Christmas Lights HQ. Covers manufacturing defect and premature failure.
Not covered: dropped bulbs, cut socket wires, mis-wired AC (180V+ surges from generator over-voltage), running over the rated socket count per circuit, animal damage.

Yes — actually dimmable. The TRIAC dimming circuit is patented (US10738984B2). It needs a TRIAC-rated dimmer module — generic ELV or 0–10V dimmers will flicker or refuse to fire. Lutron Caseta and Insteon LED dimmers are confirmed compatible.
Lutron Caseta in residential, Lutron Maestro CL for hardwired, Insteon LED dimmer modules for retrofit. Avoid no-name Amazon TRIAC dimmers — many don’t actually fire TRIAC cleanly and you’ll see the bulbs strobe.
At 0.78W per bulb, a standard 15A residential circuit (1800W usable) handles roughly 2,300 bulbs theoretical. Practically, never exceed 80% of circuit capacity per code, so cap at ~1,800 bulbs per circuit. Most contractors stop well below that — splitting runs at 500–800 bulbs per line for serviceability.
Yes — rated for outdoor cold-climate operation. LEDs actually run BETTER in cold than warm because junction temperature stays lower. We’ve installed Minleon V2 runs in Minnesota and Montana winters down to -20°F without incident.
Yes — both fit E17 sockets and both run on 120V. They’ll look slightly different because Minleon V2 emits a touch more lumen output per bulb. If you’re mixing for budget reasons, run Minleon on the visible line and Tuff on the side / back / valley — the difference disappears at viewing distance.
5 years from Christmas Lights HQ. In practice, Minleon V2 failure rate runs around 0.3% per year (3 bulbs per 1,000 installed). We’ve had warranty claims on 6-year-old bulbs honored where the failure was clearly manufacturing-related, not install damage.
The 15,000-hour rating is L70 — the point where output drops to 70% of original. Most Minleon V2 bulbs deliver useful light well past L70. Contractors on multi-year contracts report 8–10 seasons of acceptable performance, which works out close to the rated hours given typical 60-day per-year usage.
0.78W is measured under steady-state at 120V nominal. Under high line voltage (124V+ at the outlet) you’ll see ~0.85W. Under low voltage (115V) you’ll see ~0.72W. Within ±10% of label spec across the normal residential voltage range.
Orders placed before 2 PM ET ship the same day. Free shipping on orders over $349. Most orders arrive in 2-5 business days via UPS or FedEx Ground.
