More bulbs or different color

The kit fits standard C9 E17 sockets. Add or swap bulbs from the full C9 lineup — every C9 color fits the same socket spacing.

Longer run or extra wire

Add a 1,000 ft C9 SPT-1 socket wire spool or SPT-1 extension wire if the property exceeds the kit's wire footage.

Different clip type for the install surface

How to install this kit

Pro-installer steps for the Patriot House Kit on a single residential roofline.

1. Lay out the socket wire at ground level. Roll out the 100 ft (or 125 ft for 15″ spacing) of SPT-1 socket wire across the lawn or driveway in front of the install line.
2. Twist in 100 Minleon V2 bulbs. E17 base into each socket. Alternating Red / Pure White / Blue is the standard pattern — the kit ships pre-sorted in that order. Hand-tight only.
3. Pre-clip every socket with Tuff clips at ground level. 100 Tuff clips — one per socket. Slide-on assembly while the line is laid out. Faster than clipping on the roof.
4. Add male plug at the supply end + female plug at the line end. SPT-1 slide-on plugs. Snap covers until they click. Test polarity with an outlet tester.
5. Climb up + mount section by section. Snap pre-clipped sockets to the gutter or shingle line. Route the SPT-1 jumper wire from the outlet to the supply-end of the stringer.
6. Walk the run plugged in to verify. Confirm every bulb fires. Swap any DOA bulbs (rare with Minleon V2) before final tighten of clip placements.

Certifications and materials

• cETLus certification — C9 LED bulbs in this kit are cETLus listed (Intertek file 5019711) per UL 588 safety standard for seasonal lighting. Equivalent to UL Listed for permit-track residential and commercial installs.
• IP65 wet location rating — C9 LED bulbs survive direct rain, snow, and sleet exposure. Not submersible.
• UL Listed insulation (wire) — SPT-1 socket wire and jumper wire are UL Listed for 120V residential extension cord use.
• Year-round residential or seasonal commercial — Component lifespans are sized for 5+ seasons of pull-down + storage + redeploy cycles when handled per the install guide.

Warranty

5-year warranty on Minleon V2 C9 bulbs; 1-year warranty on Tuff C9 bulbs, socket wire, clips, and plugs. Components carry their individual manufacturer warranties — Christmas Lights HQ honors all of them. Not covered: dropped bulbs, cut socket wire from sharp tools, mis-wired connections (240V over-voltage), animal damage, year-round outdoor exposure beyond the rated seasonal cycle.
