Choose Your Spacing: 12" or 15"

Same 1,000 ft of wire either way. The spacing changes how many Minleon V2 bulbs sit on that wire — which changes the look, the bulb count, and your material cost per foot.

Most residential contractors run 12". It's the denser, more premium look and it's what customers picture when they think of a professionally lit roofline. At this route size you're mostly bidding houses, not commercial perimeters — so unless you're specifically chasing long, simple rooflines, 12" is the safer default. How to Install This Kit

Pro-installer steps for the C9 Starter Pack 1,000ft across a 5-7 home route.

1. Pre-bulb and pre-clip at the shop. Bulb and clip the entire 1,000 ft run at the shop before the truck leaves — comfortably, in a chair, not on a roof. Lay the finished string gently into a 55-gallon garbage can as you go. Do not roll or coil it.
2. Load the truck. 1-2 person crew, one truck. Cans and ladders load together. Plan the route by ZIP code to minimize windshield time.
3. On-site: pull from the can and mount. Pull the string out of the can, run it along the eave, and cut it to the exact length of that home's roofline as you go. No pre-measured sections, no waste. Slide the Tuff Wedge clips on as you go.
4. Add plug pair per stringer. Most homes use 1 stringer per side of the roofline = 2 plug pairs per home.
5. Route to GFCI outlet at each home + test. Walk the run plugged in. Swap DOA bulbs before you leave the property — a return trip eats the profit on the job.

• UL 588 standard — Minleon V2 C9 bulbs and C9 socket wire are manufactured to the UL 588 standard for seasonal and holiday decorative lighting, the industry test standard for C9 LED retrofit bulbs and socket wire.
• Minleon V2 construction. 0.78-watt C9 LED on a standard E17 base, TRIAC-dimmable with a US patented circuit design, IP65 wet-rated. Not rated for submersion.
• UL Listed insulation (wire) — SPT-1 socket wire and jumper wire are UL Listed for 120V residential extension cord use.
• King Pro Bulbs, if you choose them instead. 0.8-watt SMD LED on a nickel-plated E17 base, IP67 sealed, polycarbonate lens rated 200X stronger than glass.
• Seasonal residential and commercial use — Component lifespans are sized for 5+ seasons of installation, takedown, storage, and redeployment when handled per the install guide.

Warranty

Minleon V2 C9 bulbs carry the Minleon manufacturer's warranty, covering defects in material and workmanship. Christmas Lights HQ warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 90 days from the date of shipment, unless otherwise stated on the product listing — and King Pro Bulbs are the exception, carrying an extended 5-Year Limited Warranty if you choose them for this kit instead.

Not covered on any bulb: damage from improper installation, misuse or unauthorized repair; installation not compliant with local electrical codes or the NEC; damage from acts of nature, rodents and wildlife, or electrical surges outside our control; normal wear and tear; labor, installation or reinstallation costs; property damage or personal injury.
